What is a lymphatic drainage?

A lymphatic drainage is a very smooth and pleasant treatment designed to unblock the cleaning systems of the organism (i.e. the lymphatic system). With this therapy we are able to eliminate toxic substances and liquids, which due to a sedentary life, obesity and other diseases are not totally eliminated from the organism.
A lymphatic drainage is an old therapy that is recommended to support treatments of traumatology, angiology and physiotherapy. The classic or traditional drainage method uses manual massages and special oils that activate the interstitial liquids through lymphatic channels.
What are the effects of a lymphatic drainage?
The drainage calms the nervous system (good against stress, anxiety and migraines). In dermatology and esthetics, it is used in cases of acne and face rejuvenation. It stimulates the circulatory system and transfers the fluids of the body towards the neck, so that new lymph is sent to tissues reinforcing the immune system. The arthrosis, osteoporosis and Arthrosis are alleviated.
At the present time, nearly 70% of the population suffers or will suffer some kind of circulatory problem related to the lymph. The principal cause is lack of physical exercise.
What is the pressure therapy?
In addition to manual drainage we use pressure therapy with Pulstar S2, laser and acupuncture. Pressure therapy consists of a sequential multi compartment camera that provides gradual physiological pressure to the legs. The laser optimizes and empowers the pumping mechanism at the exit points and acupuncture clears the channels. The combination of these therapies offers spectacular results in each session.
How many sessions are necessary?
A lymphatic drainage is effective after 10 sessions, each session has a duration of 60 mintues. It will also depend on the gravity and depth of the problem.
What are the contraindications for a lymphatic drainage?
Generalized infections | Cancer |
Bronchial asthma | Cardiac insufficiency |
Syndrome of the carotid sine | Thrombosis
